  • 1. California Golden Raisin Filling

    Blend California Golden Raisins in blender to coarse texture.

    In a pot, combine California Golden Raisins, sugar and water.

    Over medium heat, bring raisin mixture to a boil. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally until the mixture turns to light caramel-jam texture. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

  • 2. Pastry Dough

    In a mixture bowl, combine butter and icing sugar. Beat with a flat beater until creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix to form a dough.

    Refrigerate for 20 minutes.


    Roll out dough to 6mm thickness and place lightly on floured surface.

    Cut out tarts with 5cm fluted cutter.

    Remove to baking sheet.

    Place 8gm of California Golden Raisin filling on the centre of the tart.

    Roll out 2 thin strips and place criss-cross over each fillings.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180oC for 16 minutes.

    Cool and store in air-tight container.
