California Raisin Caramel Almond Popcorn

    Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, water and salt in a pot. Mix well and cook until it comes to a boil.

    Continue to boil for another 2 to 3 minutes until light golden in color. Stir in baking soda.

    Pour the syrup mixture over the popcorn immediately. Add in raisins and almonds and toss until the popcorn is well coated.

    Spread the popcorn out on a parchment paper brushed with butter and bake in a 120°C oven for 15 minutes or until it is dry.

    Allow to cool on a rack before packing into a container.
